90s Bible is a 1990s computer in your browser, made for enjoying the Bible. Boot it up, hear the modem, and a grey and teal desktop is waiting. Read the Bible in the World English Bible, the Berean Standard Bible or the King James Version. Nothing to install and nothing to pay.
Play Fill the Verse and the games, spin the hymn CD, sign the guestbook, or run the Verse Vibes screensaver on a TV. A new verse is waiting every day.
90s Bible is a free website that turns your screen into a computer from 1997, and then fills it with the Bible. When it loads you hear a modem dial, watch a boot screen scroll by, and land on a grey and teal desktop with icons to double click. Behind the icons is a full Bible reader with search. The default text is the World English Bible in its WEBU edition, which prints the LORD for God's name. You can switch to the Berean Standard Bible or the King James Version whenever you like. Today's Verse gives everybody the same passage each day, and Fill the Verse is a small word puzzle built from scripture. There are classic-style games, a hymn CD that spins in the CD Player, a guestbook to sign, a screensaver of floating verses for a TV, and a set of desktop themes. Everything runs in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to download and nothing to pay. Each of the main features also has its own plain page, so you can find a verse such as John 3:16 or Psalm 23:1 without starting the desktop. 90s Bible is part of www.BibleDo.com, a family of Bible projects, and the books and gifts live at BibleDo.store. If a verse helps you, copy it and send it to someone.
